Planning an event? We’re here to make it delicious and stress-free. Below are answers to some of our most common questions!

  • As early as possible!
    We book up quickly during peak wedding and event season (May through October), so we recommend reaching out at least 6 to 12 months in advance for weddings and 2 to 3 months for smaller events.

  • A signed contract and 50% deposit are required to confirm your booking. Once those are in place, your date is officially on our calendar.

  • Yes! Tastings are offered after your event is booked and contract signed. It’s a great way to finesse flavors and finalize your menu. Tastings are held on weekdays at our Esquimalt commissary kitchen and are subject to availability outside of peak season. We’ll determine the cost of your tasting based on your menu choices.

  • We typically prepare 3 to 4 dishes for tastings. Some items aren’t available due to scaling or batch prep. For example, we don’t offer tastings of our canapés or food stations, as those are designed for high-volume service. Don’t worry – everything will be perfect on your event day.

  • Yes, we’re happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and other special diets. We’ll work with you to ensure all guests are well taken care of.

  • No, but we’re happy to connect you with some fabulous local vendors!

  • Yes! Cake cutting service is offered at $2 per slice.

  • We offer buffet, plated, family-style, and station service. We’re also happy to mix styles - like a canapé cocktail hour followed by a buffet dinner. Let’s talk about what fits your vision best!

  • We’re happy to coordinate rentals for you through our trusted partners, or work with rentals you’ve secured on your own. We’ll discuss what’s needed based on your menu and guest count.

  • Yes - we provide all serving ware for the food, including platters, chafers, utensils, and any special station equipment. You’ll just need to handle guest-use items like plates, cutlery, napkins, and glasses unless we’re arranging rentals for you.

  • We clear food stations or buffet lines, tidy serving areas. If we’re working in a venue with a kitchen, we’ll also clean and reset the space per their requirements.

  • We can provide licensed bartenders and bar packages depending on the venue and your needs. We’re also happy to coordinate with your venue or bar vendor if they’re handling beverages.

  • Please get in touch as soon as possible. We understand that plans change, and we’ll do our best to work with you. Our cancellation and rescheduling policies are outlined in your contract.

  • Yes, just about any venue! We may need to tour the space to assess access to power, water, layout, rental requirements, etc. If it’s a unique space, let’s chat further.

  • Yes! Vendor and kid’s (12 and under) meals can be provided at a 50% discount

  • All rates will be broken down on your estimate - no surprises!
